Jailbreak iOS 5 iPhone 4, 3GS, iPad, iPod Touch Using redsn0w(HOW TO)

Now that you are on iOS 5, but you want Cydia on your device so that you can get those hacks and other cool stuff for your iOS device. Then its time to jailbreak it now, but at the moment you can only Tethered jailbreak it, that means you’ll have to plug in your device to your computer every time it reboots to make a “Just Tethered Boot” from redsn0w.

So lets get started: Things you need  to Tethered Jailbreak are the following:

1st Step: Connect your device, sync with iTunes then restore to iOS 5, once your done with the restore, You can now run redsn0w.

2nd Step: Open Redsn0w, click on Extras, then Select IPSW, now browse that ipsw that you downloaded and choose it. After that click Back button.

3rd Step: Now it’s time to choose jailbreak and install cydia, this is very easy just follow the instruction and you are on your way in jailbreaking your device.

Now Sit Back and relax for a couple of minutes and you’ll get your device jailbroken within few minutes of installing some important exploits that you might see on your device and it will re-boot after it’s done.

Now that you have jailbreak your iOS Device, its time to tethered boot. Here’s how to do it.

Open Redsn0w, hit Extras then choose “Just Boot”, and again just follow the instruction and let it do it’s job. After you have done this you have now a Jailbreak Tethered iOS Device.
