Globe partners with PhilMUG for special forum section

Globe Telecom marks another milestone as the first Philippine telco to partner with PhilMUG, the country’s premier Apple User Group, in setting up a special section to handle customer issues in the group’s online forum

PhilMUG, a community of over 20,000 members composed of Apple developers, resellers, users and enthusiasts, has launched a sub-forum manned by an official and dedicated Globe online community representative to respond to Apple-related inquiries for Globe products and services, as well as manage forum discussions specific to Globe.

The new forum section will allow Globe to showcase its expertise in handling Apple products, specifically the revolutionary iPhone device. Globe started its partnership with Apple in 2008 when it became the official carrier of the iPhone 3G. Since then, the telco has provided the best customer experience for the various iPhone devices, from reservation and purchase to after-sales.

Globe celebrates another pioneering effort with our partnership with PhilMUG, the trusted expert when it comes to Apple and iPhone in the country. We are very excited with this collaboration, as it gives us the opportunity to bring in our expertise and experience in Apple devices. We look forward to harnessing synergies with PhilMUG as we take the Philippine Apple experience to the next level,” said Martha Sazon, Head of Globe Postpaid.

“We’re excited for the opportunity this creates for Globe to help the PhilMUG and local Apple communities by addressing issues and improving its services through customer feedback. This partnership has much potential to benefit PhilMUG and the local Apple community by allowing Globe to continually adapt to the growing needs of its customers by addressing issues and improving services through interaction and two-way communication,” added Johannes Sia, PhilMUG Chairman.
