Sophos Opens Shared Services Center Opened its door in Philippines for Global Customers

Sophos inaugurated a new Shared Services Center (SSC), located in Manila, Philippines, to provide dedicated, round-the-clock level 1 support services to customers across Asia Pacific (APAC) and globally.

The Manila SSC is part of Sophos’s Technical Support organization and complements existing support centers located in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, Italy, Spain, the UK and US.

Sophos opened the SSC in a formal ceremony presided by Sophos CEO Kris Hagerman, in the presence of Guest-of-Honor Ms. Gillian Joyce “Gigi” Virata, Senior Executive Director of the Information Technology and Business Process Association of the Philippines (IBPAP).

The Manila SSC is currently staffed with over 70 support engineers and customer care specialists, of which 15 are dedicated to the APAC region. It is an integral part of the Sophos worldwide support organization, providing support services 24/7/365 to customers and partners around the globe.

The Manila SSC underscores Sophos’s longstanding commitment to customers and partners in APAC, and is a strategic initiative in addressing the growing demand for its industry-leading security solutions across the region.
